先日、岐阜の高山に行ってきました。
秋の高山祭があって、高山祭は、日本で最も美しい祭りのひとつに
あげられており、祇園祭に似ていました。

高山祭には、春の山王祭と秋の八幡祭の２種類があります。屋台が通行人の
すぐ近くを通っていて圧巻でした。

Takayama festival

The other day I visited Takayama in Gifu prefecture.
There was a takayama festival, which was one of the most beautiful festivals in Japan, and the atmosphere of the festival was very similar to that of Gion festival.

Actually there are two kinds of takayama festivals, that is, Sannou festival and Hachiman festival. The vehicles passed near the pedestrians and it was very exciting.
