今回は、京都の谷町通りを紹介します。

秋葉原のようにパソコンや電気製品の店が並んでいるかと思えば
商店街をはさんで骨董屋さんなどが並ぶ町並みに。新しいものと古いものが
融合した京都の町の一面をかいまみさせてくれる風景です。

Tanimachi Street

We will see Tanimachi street in Kyoto.

There are a lot of shops lining up the computers and electrical appliances
at Tanimachi street, which resembles the city of Akihabara shopping arcade.
On the other hand, we can find many antique shops at the opposite side of the shopping arcade of Tanimachi streets. We experience real enjoyment of Kyoto in which the new things and traditional ones are mixed.
