今回は、５月中旬に行われた葵祭りを紹介します。
葵祭りは、京都三大祭りの一つです。実際に下賀茂神社近くに
見にいきましたが、すごい人でした。起源は１４００年前に
さかのぼるそうです。源氏物語にも描かれています。

Aoi festival is one of the largest three festivals in Kyoto.
There are much more people than I expected. This festival started more than 1400 years ago and was described in the Genji monogatari.
