■特に食事面や寮にクーラーがないことなど、何かととまどうことも多いかもしれない。でもそんなとまどいを覚えることも異文化で生活しているからこそだ。いきなり日本に帰りたいと思っている人も多いかもしれないが、日本では当たり前なことが海外では違うということが体験できるだけでも十分価値がある。

■私も留学中、住んでいる寮がやたらアラームがなるところで夜中に何度も叩きおこされてマジ切れしそうになったこともあったが、今となってはよい思い出である。

It is important for people who study abroad to get accustomed to the new way of life.
Many Japanese might realize how Japanese people are in affluent circumstances when they leave Japan..

Actually, many people might face difficulties such as tasteless foods and lack of air-condition systems. Although some people miss Japanese convenient life style, they have an excellent opportunity to understand that common sense differs among different countries.

During my stay in the U.K., my patience nearly snapped because the fire alarm woke me over and over again at midnight. But now, I treasure the memory of the days I spent in the U.K.
