海外に留学すると授業中発言を求められたり、プレゼンテーションを
する機会が多くなる。プレゼンに慣れていない日本人は、プレゼンを英語で
やるなんて言うと、そんなの無理。。とか言いたくなるのだが、やってみると
これが意外に楽しかったりする。

プレゼンの核になる部分は、事前に英文で作成しておき、完璧に頭に
入れておく。あとは言うことを忘れないようにポイントだけをメモしておけば
いい。あとはノリで結構いけてしまう。それだけだと心配だという人は、万が一に備えて英文で原稿を作っておくといい。通常は何も見ずにプレゼンし、よほど説明が難しかったり、詰まってしまったときだけ、その原稿にかえればいい。

プレゼンの前日に一通り話せるか、リハーサルをしておくことも大切だ。

Make a presentation with high motivation

When you study abroad, you are frequently required to give some comments on the task or to make a presentation. Many Japanese are not accustomed to giving a presentation and regard it as a difficult task, however, making a presentation might be more interesting than you expect.

The important thing is that you prepare the main idea in English and try to memorize it in advance. Then, you had better take a note about the key points you will present.
Once you start the presentation, you are able to finish it up with ease.

Those who feel anxiety are able to prepare the full manuscript in case you completely forget what you want to say. You can refer to the manuscript when you cannot do well without it.

Conducting a rehearsal in advance is an imperative of the presentation.
