ロンドンでは、黒いタクシーがいっぱい走っているが、メーターの上がり方は、その状況によって違う。
確か私が留学していたときは、メーターの横の番号が１なら距離で料金加算。番号が２なら時間で料金加算だった。
２の加算形式の場合、セントラルロンドン付近で渋滞につかまると予想以上にメータがあがるので気をつけよう。

Each taxi company uses different taximeter system.
When I was in London, the criteria for taxi meters are as follows:
-taximeter No.1 means based on distance
-taximeter No.2 means based on time

Therefore, I recommend using taximeter No.1 than taximeter No.2 when you are going to the central London in order to avoid high cost due to traffic.
